Who will take pet rats?
As with other animals, the humane society will take both rats and mice. Unfortunately, many humane societies simply euthanize all rodents that come in since they do not have the proper facilities to house and care for them.

Will there be rats available for adoption at the event?
Please be aware that not all of our events will have available rats for adoption. If you plan on attending an event with the intent to adopt, you must contact us ahead of time. Drop-ins are always welcome, but we cannot guarantee we will have rats available for you if you do not contact us at least 3 days prior to an event.
