How much does Irlen testing cost?
The initial screening appointment costs $350 if it is done at Irlen® Services Northwest. We can travel to you, however, please note there will be an additional travel fee. The fee for the second evaluation, diagnostics, can vary depending on individual circumstances. Typically they will be between $675 and $775.
How do you get tested for irlen?
The Irlen Method consists of two testing sessions, a screening appointment by Irlen Screeners and Irlen Diagnosticians and a testing appointment for Irlen Spectral Filters by Irlen Diagnosticians. There are yearly filter rechecks.
Who can test for Irlen Syndrome?
The testing to identify your correct colored glasses can only be conducted by Certified Irlen Diagnosticians/Clinics. Colored lenses provided by optometrists and vision specialists to treat reading problems are NOT the same as the Irlen Method.
