4 Rivers on University is usually pretty crowded, which is a good sign most of the time. I have had a few pretty good BBQ meals there, there beef ribs are great, the pulled pork is ok, the brisket is pretty good, they have a lot work to do on their burnt ends,the burnt ends are FINELY shredded brisket, WHAT!!

Burnt ends are from beef brisket. A whole brisket, called a packer brisket, can be divided into two parts, the flat and the point. Burnt ends are made from smoked and roasted cubes of the point. The brisket itself is part of the chest of the cow and includes the two main muscles in the pectorals.

I’ve also visited the 4Rivers at the Dayton 500. Never had a complaint. The food at this location is almost inedible. I had the cheer wine chicken sandwich. It was mostly bread and sauce. Not much… chicken. And it had a weird taste to it. The corn was cold and stringy.
